Ordering Cut Flowers
Please place orders at least two weeks ahead to ensure greatest choice and quantities in colour ranges. The blooming season is from mid August until frost, which is usually early October in this area.
Blooms are picked in the early morning. If properly conditioned and kept cool, fresh dahlias often last up to eight days. Stems average 14″ in length, and are often longer. There is one bloom per stem.
Order flowers in mixed colours, or give a preference for one of these colour ranges: yellow/orange/red, or pink/mauve/purple/white. Combinations are also possible such as bright pink/deep orange, or yellow/pink, etc.
The length of stems of the 5” to 10” blooms range from 12″ to 24″. These ‘dinnerplate’ size beauties are amazing! They have been featured several times in local Bridal Shows and on Ottawa TV stations as examples of new trends in floral design.
Orders can be placed by phone (613-226-8112) or email.
