Charing House has two second floor rooms ideal for nightly, weekly, or monthly accommodation in a large executive home. Located in Nepean, in west Ottawa, it is a fifteen minute drive to downtown, and a seven minute walk to a bus stop. Access is easy from Highways 416 and 417.
The location is great for sports in all seasons as it faces Charing Park where soccer, basketball, baseball, play structures, and a skating rink are located. The back yard has direct access to the National Capital Commission bike path system which extends for many miles through park settings throughout the city, for both biking and walking. The Nepean Sportsplex and the Ottawa Superdome at Ben Franklin Park are minutes away. Live entertainment at Centrepointe Theatre, a branch of The Ottawa Public Library, and an outdoor artificial skating area are all nearby. The Queensway Carleton Hospital is a twelve minute drive away, and the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital about twenty minutes away. Algonquin College is about ten minutes’ drive, as is the Woodroffe Transit Station.
The house is air conditioned and heated by gas, and is designed for superior ventilation. The home has never accommodated smokers, or in-room pets. An exceptionally friendly and quiet golden retriever is on site. Beautiful back yard deck and seating, and extensive gardens in season are yours to enjoy. Parking available at no additional charge.
The space also functions well as a retreat or getaway venue for small groups.
All linens and towels are provided. Same floor laundry access is available without charge. A small deposit is required for reserving either of the rentals.
The West Room:

Pricing for the West Room for one person:
- $100 single night, $80 per night for two nights or more.
- weekly $400, monthly $1000.
- each additional person is $10 per night, $40 per week, $100 per month.
The Suite:
- bedroom measures 11’ x 12’.
- furnished with double bed, dressers, shelving.
- window bench, double closet, and enclosed desk area with Rogers high speed internet.
- private three piece bathroom.
- attached private sitting room measures 12’ x 13’.
- furnished with sleeper sofa, dresser, shelving, table and chairs.
- TV with extended cablevision, Rogers high speed internet.
- enclosed in-room kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, Tassimo coffee maker, dishes, etc.
Pricing for the Suite for one person:
- $125 single night, $100 per night for two nights or more.
- weekly $500, monthly $1200.
