I planted one of your beautiful Mingus Tonys in early May and it was comming along nicely until one of my cats decided to do something in the flower bed around it. Unfortunately the plant was about 8 inches tall when it broke off. What can I do to salvage the tuber for next years planting?
I hope you left the tuber in the ground as planted, as it would most likely send up a new shoot this year. It would be a little later blooming than the original that broke, but it would still develop a good tuber system.
